  • Calculating Interest: Computational model that uses sliders to manipulate interest rate, down payment, and monthly payment. The cumulative interest and principal are displayed in a graph.
  • Manipulating a curve as well as fitting a curve to data with sliders. Uses sliders to adjust parameters and cell naming for referencing cells in formulas.
  • Susceptible, Infected, Recovered Model: Computational model that tracks the spread of a disease. Uses sliders to adjust parameters and cell naming for referencing cells in formulas.
  • Avoca Examples: Workbook with several worksheets presented at the Avoca field trip on November 30, 2007.
  • Domtar Data: Different tour guides and the official website describe the paper plant capacity. Where's the missing fiber?
  • Hospira Vat: A simple example of using variable names and scroll bars in Excel to explore the design of a 5000 L vat.
  • Time to Science: A simple comparison of factors in parallel computing.
