Candid Student Reports

The following reports were written by members of Modeling Your World, Session A during the first day of the program. Some elements may have been removed/edited for various reasons, but the text that remains is in the student's own words.

Today I liked doing the activity with the predator and prey. I like doing activities outside and we got to run around and that was fun.

I liked the outside activity and it would help if you made sure that they would *not* climb on the tables.

I liked being outside the best. We should always be outside.

This class was fun. I especially liked the predator-prey game. The only bad part are these reports.

I liked that we got to learn a lot of stuff, and have fun while doing it. All the staff here is really great, and I'm glad that I signed up for this program.

Today was so great. I thought everyone including the staff of SHODOR, and the teachers were excellent. They all had a great attitude toward things. My first day was great. With more to come!

I liked it best when we went outside. It would be better with more snacks & games.

I liked graphing the rate and probability of schoolmates and classmates catching the flu from one original sick person. I think that some things should be explained more thoroughly.

The best thing was playing predator and prey. It needs more games.
