Candid Student Reports

The following reports were written by members of Modeling Your World, Session A during the fifth day of the program. Some elements may have been removed/edited for various reasons, but the text that remains is in the student's own words.

Today was fun we modeled the earth and the sun on Galaxsee. The best thing is that I'll never have to write another report.


David

I learned how to make a orbit around a sun in a cube. I liked that we could make this diagram.


Ethan

Today's session of Modeling Your World was fun. We got to model the solar system. We saw paths that the world took around the sun and discussed the dropping of balls. We graphed how fast the balls dropped on a spreadsheet. Outside we tried to do it by hand. We got pretty close to the real answer that was on the computer.

I liked everything but the excel becuse it was too confusing.

Today was great. I had lots of fun on my last day for Modeling Your World. All of the teachers were great. What I learned today was about galaxies. I hope I come back next week.
