Candid Student Reports

The following reports were written by members of Math Explorations, Session B during the third day of the program. Some elements may have been removed/edited for various reasons, but the text that remains is in the student's own words.

Today was great. I learned about Pascal's triangle, among other things. I also was deeply interested in rules for today. Mostly today was great, with everyone being nice and appropriate. Overall, today which is Wednesday was cool!

Today was fun. Though I knew most of the information from previous classes, examples through interactivate and the eagerness of the other students made the class interesting. Many are willing to participate, including interns, and this makes the class worthwhile.

Today we studied fractals and sequences. I liked them both.

This was fun today. I learned negtive numbers.


Karyee

I liked that we could play on Microsoft Excel. I learned how to do things on Microsoft Excel.


Ethan

We had a fun day today we learned calculus. The class was fun and I learned a lot.


Alex and Alex

Today's class was fun. We learned about number patterns and sequences using Microsoft Excel. One of the patterns that was very hard was 1,3,11,123,15131. You had to do 1 to the second power plus two and three to the second power plus two so on and so on.
