This set of projects taught me how to scale images using the scale tool as well as how to export XCF files on Gimp to Jpeg or PNG. Other skills that were learned was how to create a banner and leaderboard.
Using Gimp for a more extensive look into the platform, the skills that were developed because of these projects are skills such as how to use layers in order to make collages whether it be turtles in space, or just putting cats and birds into a sunset setting. Other tools that were used during the projects were free selection, blur, filter tools, and many more that help create the images displayed on the webpage.
With a free software named "Inkscape", I was able to create various logos that involved my name and initials using various different tools. I also made a seven object collage after a demo where I was able to manipulate shapes into becoming various things such as a sunflower, a Domino's logo, and many more objects using the various shape tools.
This webpage was made by watching a tutorial on Youtube titled "HTML5/CSS3 Flat Responsive Website - Start To Finish Web Design Tutorial" which was created by Drew Ryan.
Period Poverty Modeling Project
For the final modeling project for the apprenticeship program, I decided to model a topic that is not widely talked about: period poverty. The following link will redirect you to the modeling website where my system and agent model was created as well as their stories, and my cited research that can be clicked on if you are interested in learning more about the topic after viewing the models.
This page will display a website that is rendered with Krista's PHP Projects. The projects that were completed were done with PHP and HTML which helped to create projects such as background selector, random hex, Dane Joe, and dice statistics.
Programming Concepts Syntax Guide
