Water Cycle Information
Basic Vocabulary:
- Evaporation- the process in which water becomes vapor.
- Condensation- the conversion of a vapor of gas to a liquid, forming clouds.
- Precipitation- rain, snow, sleet, or hail that falls to the ground.
- Runoff- the flow of water on ground after falling to the ground.
Earth has a limited supply of water. Its water continuously go through a process called the water cycle. The water cycle consists of 4 main parts. They are evaporation, condensation, precipitation, and runoff. Above are the definition of the following 4 parts. The water you drink today were the same water back when the dinasours lived on Earth.
