Agent Sheets Model
In our Agentcubes model we were charged with the task of coming up with a visual representation for our model and for that we utilized Agentcubes. In agentcubes we used the same constants as our Vensim model healthy rats, sick rats, dead rats, healthy humans, sick humans and dead humans. Our healthy rats were represented with a red color, our sick rats were represented by a yellow color and our immune rats were represented with a blue color. When a sick yellow rat comes into contact with a healthy red rat the healthy rat turns yellow in color and if an a sick yellow rat comes in contact with a blue immune rat then nothing happens. We have also added different pigmented rats to symbolize the decaying of the dead rats until they disappear entirely from the screen. We have the same thing for humans in that when a normal healthy human comes into contact with a sick rat, the healthy human turns sick and when the human dies it is changed into a gravestone. The elements of the model just move around freely on the screen. AgentSheets is a modeling approach that focuses on the interactions between individual agents. It is also very visual.
