The following (reports) were written by members of the Math Explorations Club. Some elements may have been removed for various reasons, but the text that remains is in the student's own words.

I learned that False can = True, and that it doesn't
matter that I am the youngest kid in the class.

                          By yours truly,
                             Veronica

I learned what a paradox is. I also learned how to do
a couple of magic tricks. I enjoyed this class very much.

Today in Math Explorations I learned about parodoxes.
I learned that they are not always what you think
they are. We also discussed some different problems
and if they were paradoxes or not. Towards the end
of the program we discussed how computers work math
and aproximate numbers instead of using accurate
numbers.

to day we did lots of things a lernd about mobobisa
strip and had a lot of fun. :) i found it lots of
fun and i loved it. we alsow lerned about paradoxes
and a lot about thim i think that it was a blast.

I learned today a couple of magic tricks and what a
paradoxes are.
By Michelle

I learned about paradoxes. A paradox is somthing
that contradicts it's self, like:This sentense is
false.

Jenny

A paradox is something that seem like something but
is actually not. Here are some examples. Someone in
America told you that all the people in America are
liars. But that means that they were telling a lie,
so they tell the truth. But they just lied.
This sentence hass three wordz that are mispelled.
The first word that is mispelled is has, words is
mispelled, and the WORD mispelled.

Christine

Today we learned about the Mobious Strip, which has
one edge and one side. If you run your finger around
it, your finger ends at the same place, and touched
both "sides". If you cut the strip through the
"middle", your strip is just longer, with two turns,
instead of the one it started out with. We also
studied paradoxes, such as "This sentence is false."
If the sentence is false, then the sentence is true,
but if the sentence is true, then it must be false.
It goes on forever like that. The sentence is both
true AND false. The Mobious Strip isn't a paradox,
just an odd shape.

Ben

Today we learned about paradox . We also decussed a
little bit about algebra and calculus. We discussed
what makes a paradox a paradox. One type of paradox
is the self reference paradox. We got a kick out of
that!!! There are several ways to deal with paradoxes.
One is to simply say that you prohibit the paradox!
We can't wait till the next class!
