Candid Student Reports
The following (emails) were written by members of the Math
Explorations, Session B during the first session of the
program. Some elements may have
been
removed for various reasons, but the text that remains is in the student's
own words.
I had fun being an intern today in math explorations.
Ryan
It was very informative even though I already knew
some of it. It had a lot of interesting stuff. The
tesselations were fun. My computer has delayed
reactions.
Ellen
I didn't like all the talking. The activity with
the tessellations was not very interesting and
might be better if not as much time was spent on it.
Ben and Tasha
I learned about bianary code and encrpition.
Jon
I had fun today.
Greg
I like this class, It taught me shortcuts of
problems. This could be better by making us work
together in groups, making us work on a project,
so we could talk to each other more.
Jikai
Today in math we started out with teselations(i
hope it's spelled right). It was a familiar
subject and since I like art it was easy. I also
saw some of M.C. Eschers work. We talked about
coding and inkrypting. It was fun, challenging,
and rewarding.
Will
I really like this math explorations workshop. It
taught me a lot of things that I didn't realy know.
I don't think there's anything that I could make
better about this coarse. Hopefully, I'll have the
same amount of fun on tomorrow.
