The class started by reviewing what they had learned about patterns from the day before. Bob1 reviewed pattern manipulation and recognition characterization. Basic geometry was the next topic that took them on into tessellations, shapes the same size that if put side by side will leave no gaps. For example, a circle is not one because it will leave gaps, squares on the other hand make tessellations because they fit together side be side in a way that leave no gaps. Now it was the students turn to make their own tessellations using odd shapes they created as long as they didn't overlap. At the end of the of the day the students were given certificates of achievment, and a class picture was taken. Last Update: |
