Today we got to report on bookmarks. Bookmark is were save a page to the bookmarks window. You can then access the window and find the page that you saved as a bookmark. You also can save them to your disk, accessing them through Netscape on any computer later. Today was even better than yesterday and I can't wait till tomorrow.

(: bye :) (:this is my kind of way of saying good bye phip

We learned about search symbols. They help you narrow your search for a subject on the net. The "+" sign stands for "and", it is used when looking for more then one word i.e. +horses + Tack. The "-" sign stands for "not" and is used when you don't want the computer to look up that word i.e. +bats -baseball. The quotation marks makes the words into a phrase so it looks up the words together rather than seperately.

Keyword Searching

Keyword searching is a more efficient way of searching the web using a search engine.Using symbols you can insure that you will not get unwanted or unneeded information on the topic you are researching. The following are some symbols that are used to help you: "+" = and, "-" = not, and " " = two words together.
