Candid Student Reports The following reports were written by members of Environmental Science during the third day of the program. Some elements may have been removed/edited for various reasons, but the text that remains is in the student's own words. Bianca today we talked about pollution in different places and how you can change it and what caues it. CJ We learned more about ppolution and how we can fix the prmplem. Example like we took la and we used what we could ton try to the polution. And we leRNED THat some towns were alot worse then others. William i really enjoyed today, wxcept for the parts when i couldn't see the 1 in front of the six, but overall i wouldn't change a thing about the lesson plan. Elvis today we did a applet about air poulution. And one that look like a wave and we had to use money involed with this probelm(not real money)!!!! but today was a nice day and i enjoyed it. Andrew Today, was a very interesting day. I learned a lot about pollution and what it does. Bobby made today interesting and fun. Alyssa today we used models to solve problems and make ideas Robert Today we learned about the earth being polluted. We also tried to prevent it for happening and crashing the ozone layer. Last, Bobby was a good teacher and wasn't boring. Carlos Tody i think was the best day because we did alot of hands-on work. It was also fun because I learned that we are destroying our atmosphere, i learned how to stop (or reduce) the amount of air pollution Pateryl today in bobys class we learned about air pollution, and how we could predict or see what kind of condition air pollution in different city's are. We also used a different model to reduce the air pollution of a smoke smog that we build with a factory, we only had a certain amount of money. Our group's budget was 15 million dollars, and we had to get the smoke smog under 6 in both the stable rage and unstable rage. The reason we had to do both stable and unstable was because the pollotion could get worst or could stay in a moderate rage. But u always have to preparfe for a worst case situation. |
