The basic questions being answered by accreditation is whether the model is appropriate for a given audience, correlated to other standards in the models content area, accessible to all users, and useful in achieving a desired outcome. The stakeholders in the accreditation process are classroom instructors and people responsible for the learning environment for the target audiences.
We give some general guidance for accreditation reviewers in applying accreditation processes to computational science and engineering based educational materials. Below there are links to more specialized guidelines for different fields and different kinds of objects. As we develop CSERD, we will ask our expert reviewers to add other relevant guidance for their fields of expertise.
