You can change the properties of a wire by changing the length or the cross-sectional area of wires.
Length
To see how changing the length of a wire affects strength, stiffness, and range,
enter the original length and new length, then click "Calculate." You will see
the ratio of the new strength, stiffness, and range to the old.
Cross-Sectional Area
To see how the cross-sectional area of a wire affects strength, stiffness, and
range, enter the original and new cross-sectional areas, then click "Calculate."
You will see the ratios of the new strength, stiffness, and range to the old.
