System Model
This simple model displays a graph of the amount of trees on fire. The amount of trees on fire is influenced by the rate of fire spread, the amount of lightning strikes, the number of firefighters, and the rate a firefighter can extinguish a fire. The time is displayed in minutes. An increasing function may convey that the current number of firefighters or the low extinguishing rate may not be enough to do put out the fire efficiently. A declining graph means the amount firefighters and the extinguishing rate should be enough to put out the fire.
Agent Model
This model simulates a firefighter putting out a forest fire. The user navigates the firefighter with the up, down, left, and right arrow keys. It is the duty of the firefighter to put out the fires. If not put out fast enough a burning tree can become a dead tree. If put out fast enough the a burning tree will become an extinguished tree. Agent properties display in the agent property panel.
