What this Portfolio is
My portfolio encompasses every project I worked on at Shodor. Some types of projects include programming in PHP and JavaScript, modeling using AgentCubes and Vensim, and Graphic Design using Gimp and Inkscape.
Summer 2018 Projects: Block 3
Hover.css Library - Here is a link to the CSS library I used to get the nav bar to grow when the user hovers over it and the arrow on my homepage to pulse
Old Website - This is a link to my old website before I made it look visually appealing
Database Project - In this project I created a database and linked it to my website so that all of the users entries get stored in the database. I then wrote a program that allows the user to pick a statistic to calculate and the program will query the database to display that statistic.
Summer 2018 Projects: Block 2
Calendar - In this project I used PHP to create a calendar for 2018
Coin Flipper - In this project I used PHP to create a webpage that flips a coin any number of times and displays the results
Color Picker - In this project I used PHP to create a webpage that lets the user pick the background color and stores it in the users cache
Dice Roller - In this project I used PHP to create a webpage that rolls any amount of dice for any number of times and displays the results
Name Switcher - In this project I used PHP to create a webpage that switches the first and last letter in your first and last name
Random Hex Color - In this project I used PHP to create a webpage generates a random hex code and sets that hex code as the background color
Dynamic Webpage - In this project I used embedded PHP in HTML to create a nav bar and title for a webpage
XML Blog Page - In this project I used PHP to render an XML file and display it to a web page.
Forms Demo - In this project we were given an intro into HTML forms(user input) and using PHP to use and display this user input

Programming Syntax Guide - In this project I completed a research guide about the basic programming concepts of JavaScript and PHP

Personal Portfolio HLD - In this project I created an HLD for my updated Personal Portfolio
Responsive Website - In this project I followed the Rocket Design tutorial done by Drew Ryan to create website that is responsive. This means it will look one way on a desktop and a different way on a mobile phone.
Gimp Images - In this project I used Gimp to create web banners and messed up images
Inkscape Images - In this project I used Inkscape to create images and logos
Gimp Scaling Images - In this project I used Gimp to modify images and put them onto a website
Summer Modeling Project - In this project I modeled the wealth distribution in America and tested whether a high estate tax will balance the distribution of wealth
Spring 2018 Projects
Bouncing Particles - This is a model that models balls boucing off the wall. We used JavaScript to model this.
Project Euler - This is a program that solves the Project Euler question, “find the sum of all the multiples of 3 or 5 below 1000”
HTML Research Guide - In this project I researched basic HTML programming concepts to get a base to build off of.
CSS Research Guide - In this project I researched basic CSS programming concepts to get a base to build off of.
Template without CSS - This is a basic template for my website I created without any CSS
Template with CSS - This is a basic template for my website I created with CSS
Parallel Computing Notebook - In this project I answered questions about parallel computing concepts.
Spring Group Project - In this project my partner and I modeled the spread of a forest fire using AgentCubes and JavaScprit.
Fall 2017 Projects
Ethics Project - This project is all about office ethics. I was given a lesson about office ethics prior the the project. In the project I was given a situation and using the information I learned, I had to come up with a solution to situation.
HTML Research Guide - In this project I researched basic HTML programming concepts to get a base to build off of.
Excel Files - This Excel file includes modelling concepts in excel. I modelled a coin flip, dominant/recessive genes, a population of humans, temperature diffusing in a room, a dice and a spinner.
Vensim Healthy and Sick - This is a Vensim model that illustrates the spread of disease from sick people to healthy people.
Vensim Predator vs. Prey - This is a Vensim model that illustrates the population of a predator prey relationship
Vensim Rabbit Population - This is a Vensim model that models the population of rabbits
AgentCubes Healthy and Sick Model - This is a link to my AgentCubes model of the spread of disease. It includes healthy and sick people.
Fall Group Project - In this project my partner and I modeled the population of Dolphins and how the presence of fishing boats impacts the number of dolphins. We used AgentCubes and Vensim to model this relationship.
