Instructions: To run this model, click the play button, and use the arrow to add any trees that you think would affect the model. You can edit the simulation properties by inputing the values directly according to how you expect the model to behave at a particular value.
Forest Fires
Model Description: Our model uses JavaScript to illustrate the effects that saturation and inherent protection have on forest fires, as we did in our AgentCubes model.
Model Scale: As in our AgentCubes model, on a smaller scale, the forest burns slower relative to itself. On the other hand, a larger scale causes the forest to burn at a faster rate relative to itself.
