Overview Description
In this High Level Design modeling project I have created two models that are based on a oil spill. I wanted to visually simulate what would happen if an oil rig spilled oil into the ocean. One model, the agent model, visually simulates the oil spreading into the ocean water. The other model which is a system model models the lives of the healthy and sick marine life.
Inspiration
I got the idea of creating a model based on an oil spill because I recalled the extensive news coverage of the Gulf of Mexico Oil spill. I researched and investigated how there are oil rig leaks and explosions and the different ways to clean up oils spills or contain them from spreading them.
