Today Was my first day at Shodor. I met a lot of new people from all over and also saw some people who even went to my school.Today was an introductory day. We were given paperwork and also our shodor logins. We also were told about future projects. For example, by the end of the semser we must make a website with a blog that we must record every week.I cant wait until we start learning how to code. Im excited about what I can learn here at Shodor.-Marcus

Today I started working on my website project. I learned some basic informations with HTML and CSS. I didnt get very far with my website but I established a starting point.I feel like i am starting to remember how to make a basic HTML webpage.-Marcus

Today I went to shodor to catch up on some work I dan missed the Previous Saturday. Phil helped taught me ONE-ONE how to operate miscroft Excel. I learned how to add functions to excels and I also learned some key terms like "neighbors". I felt like I learned more since it was just me and Phil. At the end since we were ahead, Phil gave me some background information on my starting my website which was totally benificial. Another Awesome day at Shodor-Marcus

Today we learned about SSH. We learned commands on how to creat, move, and explore directories. Aaron led the way and taught us what we needed to know.We also learned how to connect to remote servers. Todays lesson was one of the lessons i feel will be very beneficial in the future-Marcus

Today we started learning about agentsheets. Phil got us started and once I got the basic information I felt like I did a decent job. I did what was asked of me and I even got up and helped others aroubd the room who were struggling.While experimenting with the program i also found ot some tricks like how to erase agents or even how to make them move in random places.Today was another great day a Shodor-Marcus

Today we started on our Modeling project.My partner Braxton and I must figure out how to build a model of the populations before tagging, a model of the populations as they are now with the tags, and a model of the populations as they could be with more tags. Our variables are non-tagged fish, tagged fish, and nontagged seals. In our model we will need to put rates such as birth rate and death rate of non-tagged fish, tagged fish, and nontagged seals.At the rnd of the day we felt we finished our VinSim model but we will checho over our work again on December 6.-Marcus

My partner Braxton and I are finishing up are modeling project.We have finished our VinSim model and now we are just going over it to make sure its perfect.Today we started on our AgentSheets model. We were having some trouble but eventually we overcame our troubles and made great progress. Sadly I didnt get to stay the whole time as I had a flight to make.Guys Im going to Miami for Vacation.Wish Me Luck!!!-Marcus

Today I learned how to find a value that a cell holds in an array.Seems interesting but it can be very confusing if you mess up.
