November 16th 2013
We finished working with Vensim and fixed the problem that we had last week of getting the tests to run. Then, we started to work with agent sheets and observed how it simulates different simulations, including one about the world being infected with disease. We also started to create our own basic model of Hounds and Foxes, where the hounds would chase the foxes. After that, Phil started telling us about our project that we would have to work on in future weeks.
November 23rd 2013
We learned about a lot of different things today. First we talked about professional business ethics: how to dresv, how to behave, and how to do a good job at work. Then we moved on to learning about a couple of different programs, and how to login to our accounts from home. Including text wrangler and terminal. We learned how to log in on terminal and search it for the different items in our account, we also learned how to make different directories in terminal as well. Then we did a little bit of programming today, along with briefly starting on our projects.
December 7th 2013
I learned a lot more about agents sheets than I previously knew. My partner, Allen, and I had several difficulties with our project, and had to start over several times. I also started working on my html and css parts of my website through terminal. I learned a lot more about terminal as well and created a good part on my website.
December 14th 2013
We continued to work on our projects. Allen and I have finished most of our project despite the problems that we had last week. We both worked on our websites and learned how to change the different css colors on our websites. Other than a few minor errors our agent sheets model is mostly completed and ready to present.
February 1st 2014
We started group presentations this week on the projects we were working on. Most the groups presented today except for a couple. My partner, Allen, lost his voice so we are going to present our Cops and Robbers simulation next week. After the presentations finished we started learning about JavaScript and programming concepts.

Today we leaned a lot about java script. We started learning about if, else, and else if statements. We also started learning about for loops and learning simple codes in java script. We started to learn about creating codes from scratch and understanding what the different codes mean.
Makeup day for March 1st 2014
We learned about BCCD this week which is a linux program. Mobeen and Aaron helped explain to me what BCCD was and how it works. I also learned about shared and distributed programming concepts.

We talked more about parallel programming and did an activity that shows how parallel programming is faster than doing all the work on one computer. Then we learned about the different parts of a computer like RAM, SSD, Disk, Motherboard, Power Supply, Processor and what they are used for, We also did an activity where be built our own computers that had to cost under $970.

We worked with parallelism from 2 different computers using BCCD. Me and Rebecca experience on how BCCD could be used over different computers.

I worked on and finished my Fire project for the spring module. I also started to add extra items into my module to make it look better.

I finished up some final touches on my fire project and fixed some errors. I also tried to make my project better but nearly lost my project twice. I also presented my project today.

I worked on creating a HDL document today. The topic I picked was on Fashionista Phil and color trends. I also received the HDL I would be working on, which also was on Fashionista Phil. My Project Manger was Rosemary.

Today I worked on designing the Fashionista Phil model using AgentSheets. I encountered some difficulties in preventing one color from taking over but I fixed that with help from Phil and Itai. I finished my project and presented it to my project manager Rosemary.

Today I added my finished model to my Website and I also helped some people out. I helped Ryan and Sai with their projects which were about Art. I also helped Ayla edit her website and change it.

Today I worked with Ishaan to create two models using AgentSheets. The first model we created was a user controlled World Cup Game. The second model we created was the Art Walk from Ayla's Art Walk HLD.

Today I worked on making a mobile version of my website which was mainly designed to match iphone 5 dimensions because thats the type of phone I have. I re-arranged the parts of my website, edited text size, and changed colors so it is easier to read and see.

Today I created my logo for website. It took a while but once I finished my logo i uploded it to my website

Today I finished the gimp tutorial, created a banner to replace my plain logo, and added a CSS switcher to my website. This allowed me to create a second design for my website.

Today I finished the tutorial for inkscape and added a second alternate design to my website. Phil also allowed me and a couple of other kids to combine our lunch and breaks to watch the two World Cup games in spanish.

Today I started to learn about php. Joel was teaching the sessions on php and I managed to finish the RandomHexCode generator project for php.

Today I started calendar project for php. I had a lot of troubles with this project and was unable to finish it today.

Today I finally finished my calendar php project. I also finished the Background Selector and Dane Joe php projects today.

Today I worked on the remaining php projects. I was unable to complete all of them but I finished two out of the three. I finished the Dynamic Pages and Dice Statistics project.

Today I began to work on my snowflake project. Ishaan helped teach me about how to use recursive in order to complete the project.

Today I found my snowflake project had some errors. The dropdown box didn't work and the project broke a few times. However, I fixed the errors with help from Phil and Ishaan.

Today we were assigned a new project. We had to create a database that linked to a store that customer could buy stuff from. Since I won't be here the next few days I was asked to just help a group start their project.

Today I finished up my GIMP and Inkscape tutorials as I discovered some of the ones I completed didn't properly save. I am also excited about the engineering we are going to be learning tomorrow.

Today we learned about electrical engineering in the afternoon. We learned about the importance of resistors to avoid frying our circuit. We also were able to build several different things with our kit to light up an LED and make it flash.

Today we learned about civil engineering. Ayla and I created a tower to hold marbles but it lost badly compared to the tower created by Eric and Phil.
August 8th 2014
Today we learned about engineering related to building boats. Ayla, Itai, and I created the best boat. It held 72 marbles and was the only one to pass the 20 marble minimum.
August 11th 2014
Today we learned about engineering related simulations of "Dare Devil" experiments. We were given a foam track through which we had to roll a marble down. We needed to calculate what height to drop the marble from to get it to travel a certain distance. I was in a group with Ayla, Itai, and Miguel. We didn't successfully calculate the drop height we needed to land the marble in the canister, but we tied because the other team also failed to do that.
August 12th 2014
Today was my last day at shodor. I finished up my final project, a picture of Phil's face on a fat baby, and completed my final presentation.
