Today was an intro to the entire program. We went over doom and gloom and learned how to use some of the resources they have. Because it was an intro I was kind of bored but I'm sure it will get interesting.

We learned how to trust information that we found on the internet. I also started working on my personal website. I am excited about learning the programming language called HTML. At first I was confused about how to make a html and xml file. But, when I understood the steps I was proud that I had finally understood what to do. I am also proud of the fact that I now find HTML easier to do. I am excited to work with my mentor and learn more about problem solving.

Today I worked on my personal website in greater detail than last time. I learned how to connect my computer to personal Shodor networks. And today we began to learn about office ethics. That part was pretty boring but I appreciated the knowledge gained in the process. It is confusing at times but I am sure I'll get the hang of it after some practice. I am proud that I interacted with people more than I did last time and, I heard that we will be learning about modeling next week. I am really excited to do that.

Today we began learning about modeling. For example, fashion model , diagrams and Blueprints, computer model, mathematical model etc. I learned some cool tricks to use in excel. I am proud that I was able to follow most of Dr. Panoffs instructions without any confusion. I'm hoping to learn more about Calculus because I have never talked about it before. Also. whenever I had a question Dr. Panoff would always clear up the topic for me. I appreciate his help. Also, Aneesh helped me when I couldn't hear or see all of Dr. Panoff's instructions clearly.

On the day November 14th I made up the class on November 18th. This was a day I missed but I made up the day with Dr. Panoff. I missed this day but Dr.Panoff taught me about vensim and how to model by using it. I'm hoping to learn more about how to use agent cubes to model but I understand it all takes time.

Today was an intro to agent's mod. I liked this method of modeling. I created a complicated simulation/ model on agent cubes online that I am very proud of. Also, Shaw helped me when I was confused during the instructions that Dr. Panoff gave on how to use agent cubes online. I heard that we will learn skills to help us make games like pong. I am really excited to see more into that subject.

This week I learned how to use javascript for various uses. I followed along with what Aaron said while he was discussing javascript. However, I still want to learn how to get better at javascript because some of it is still confusing. When I did become confused I repeatedly asked Aaron to lead me in the right direction whenever I was lost during the instructions being given. When I wasn't lost I helped Hamza with his css file for his main site.

This is for April 2nd but was made up April 5th. I didn't learn much because all I did was present my forest fire model. Even though I didn't learn much I am proud that I presented my forest fire model. I heard that we would start learning parallel computing. I think that'll be fun and want to learn more about. Aaron helped me the most by helping me make a functioning percent chance box. I didn't help anyone that day because I was alone.

Today we saw an example of parallelism and wrote about it in our notebooks. Aaron also showed us a cool app called Daqri which uses augmented reality to see 2d images in 3d. After lunch we made out own cluster computer(type of supercomputer) and played around with it. We even used it to simulate space and how fast stars moved.

Today was the first day from our huge break. It was very long but very useful. I finished most of my work but I would like advice on what I need to finish. My HLD was a made up story about fish but I think Ernie will be happy about the outcome.

Today was very easy. I finished my HLD and had it peer reviewed. The only thing that I am waiting on is Ernie's approval. When I had extra time I fixed my website a little. I still have work to do to make it not seem blocky and boring. I'm thinking about adding animation and more defined colors to add to it.

Today I edited my HDL document that Ernie had left some comments on. I tried to improve it as best I could and I finally finished it. After I had finished it I began to work on my website. I feel like I made a lot of improvement but I will probably work on it some more. As I was working on it time for the day had ended. So for tomorrow I will continue my work on the site and begin my reception time.

I finished my site today and am proud of how it came out. I am not a professional so I understood the end product would not be amazing. But at least I finished it and it loks good for a beginner. Now that I am done all I have left is to be a receptionist for the rest of the day.

Today is my last day at shodor. I didn't have much work to so I just sat trying to perfect my own coding abilities. I've learned a lot from this program and am very thankful for experiencing it.
