Applications in Science
Try the six problems below to see what you
already know. Problems 1 and 2 are taken from
the stoichiometry section, 3 and 6 are from the
concentrations of solutions review, 4 is from the section on statistics, and 5 is from
the pH section. How you do on these should
help you decide which parts of Session 3 you need
to work through.
Be honest with yourself! You will need to know this stuff for chemistry. Remember: You only
get one chance to take the quizzes and final, so be prepared!
- How many moles are there in 38.6 grams of H2O, or water? Hydrogen has a weight of 1 gram and oxygen has a weight of 16 grams.
