In the morning Friday, the students worked on their different projects for the final presentation of the Shodor Scholars Program.
In the afternoon, students, apprentices, interns, staff, and parents were all invited to attend the presentations. Willem and Max did their presentation on PI, they calculated PI out to a million digits, looked at different algorithms, and talked about the uses of PI. Eddie, Dylan, and Micheal did a presentation on Evolution using AgentSheets. Grace and Paris showed everyone what the weather man does to estimate the weather. Jasmine and Aarika talked about pain relievers, how they work, what they are made of, and their side effects. Andrew, Coleman, and Aakash's presentation was on writing the same program using Python or Php and their pros and cons. Finally, Philip, William, Victoria, and Ashwin talked about anesthetics, modeled the molecules, talked about volume distrabution.
