The following (emails) were written by members of Saturday Explorations in Science and Mathematics during the first session of the program. Some elements may have been removed for various reasons, but the text that remains is in the student's own words.

I think today's lesson was cool.

This was an excellent class. The simulation experiment design was near
flawless. The design was an easy to use interface, and the teacher was
well-versed in his topic. I had expected great things coming into this program,
and it is safe to say that my expectations were exceeded by the outstanding
experience I have had today.

I realy liked the astronomy class.

If you send the Earth at the v. of 0.017 and the mass 1 it will not stay in
orbit long.

I liked learning how to use a computer to do a theory.  Also I learned that a
ball doesn't falll immediately. I thought that today's program was great!
