Candid Student Reports

The following reports were written by members of Scientific Computing during the second day of the program. Some elements may have been removed/edited for various reasons, but the text that remains is in the student's own words.

Today was pretty cool again, we had more PERL experience. I also like the experiments on the random number things. Overall, it was really fun. Fractals are COOL!!


Alan

Today we did some really interesting things on encrypted codes, using our computer, and PERL programs I worked in a pair with Alan in the morning, and we de-crypted some codes that Bob2 did for us. Then we found the treasure: Swiss chocolate in the fridge! It was fun, and tasty! In the afternoon we continued programming PERL, my program has been running since 1h and 28 minutes...
