The following (emails) were written by members of the Math Explorers Club during the second session of the program. Some elements may have been removed for various reasons, but the text that remains is in the student's own words.

Today in math we played math games. We played them on the computer
and off the computer.

Today we talked about math games. It was fun.

Today in MEC Bob1 reviewed what paradoxes are and gave a few of examples, 
including one on a Clarisworks spreadsheet.  Then we played math-related 
games, and listed all of the different types of math in those games.  We played 
a game about confessing or not in prison and then made a web of the different 
types of math used in the games.  The web is enclosed.

Today we played games on the internet. We went under 
www.shodor.org/succeed/programs/mec/games.html and we also typed in 
games to play on the web if you want to play and don't know.  
We had lots of fun.
