The class started out by talking about probability. Students discussed things that they learned yesterday to refresh their memory. They then decided to do the fire model online and see what it does. They went to the fire model on the interactivate web site to examine the probabilities of the fire burning down the whole forest. After that they did a discussion on linear and non linear relationships. The relationship they came up with about the fire burning vs the probability of the fire burning was a nonlinear relationship.
