Candid Student Reports

The following reports were written by members of Internet Science Explorations during the second day of the program. Some elements may have been removed/edited for various reasons, but the text that remains is in the student's own words.

Today the was a lot more fun than yesterday because we got to search the web more freely. Like when we got to find a picture of Garrett Love.

This class is really teaching me a lot. So far I have learned a lot about the internet and soon hope to make my own web page.

Joshua

This is so much fun, especially when we got to go look for pictures of Garrett Love. I'm having a lot of fun doing this I hope I can do it again.

I learned a lot about research engines and email.

I like this class, I think it is really fun and I hope to learn a lot.

I really like the second day of the work shop because we did a lot of hands-on things like using the search engine to find the original author of the Three Little Pigs, finding out what a user name is, and how to use email.

Sade

We learned how to work on the e-mail which was very helpful. We think that maybe kids need to get outside and do things sometimes, so we suggest that we play things outdoors, like kickball, or other sports just for fun. We loved having our own disks for e-mail purposes. We think this is a great program.

Boy, I had a blast today in Internet Science. Finding educational things the internet was fun but sending people e-mail messages and getting e-mail messages was even better! As always, I had a good time during snack. I hope I will have as much fun tomorrow.

Today was cool because we got our own e-mail. I really liked that, I wasn't bored at all.
