Candid Student Reports

The following reports were written by members of Forensic Science during the fifth day of the program. Some elements may have been removed/edited for various reasons, but the text that remains is in the student's own words.

I thought the last day was really fun and liked preparing for the trial. The trial was pretty fun and I like the realistic atmosphere.

I had a lot of fun. I learned a lot about being a detective. (8

This was the best day yet! We finished the investigation, and then it was the trial. I was on the defence, and despite the overwhelming evidence towards the criminal, we WON! Boy, was it great!

I really enjoyed this week of forensic science, we solved the case but the bad thing was I was to defend Garret which was the one that did the crime. We had a fun time trying to set up a court-like environment. We had a jury and everything and I would like to come back.

I liked that we could solve the mystery. I learned more about Forensic Science in this program. So out of the whole entire class it helped me to understand more about forensics.

I enjoyed this final day of SHODOR, and I look forward to these classes in the future.

This was the last day, and I'm kind of disappointed it is over. It was a fun class. I have always wanted to go into a career with science, but the class has helped to support that decision. I am looking forward to keeping in touch with the Shodor Education Foundation, and possibly interning in the future.
