This morning, class started with a dicsussion about dead body decomposition led by Cornelia. She asked the students what they thought the purpose of a dead body decomposition model was. After the conclusion of the discussion, Renee helped the class make a model of dead body composition on Stella®. The model is incredibly complicated and took most of the morning. After a short break, they came back and read an article on CNN.com about an actual body decomposition farm. There was a wide range of reactions from "Oh, cool!" to "Oh, gross!".
