Make ramp by cutting 5/8"-1" inner diameter foam pipe insulation completely in half. This should yield two ramps per 6' length of insulation.
Make sure the marble you use fits in the ramp, i.e. less than the inner diameter of the pipe.
Use a standard styrofoam coffee cup, turned upside down, for the launch-end base of the ramp. Cut a corner off the cup equal to the thickness of the foam pipe.
Tape one end of the foam pipe to the clipped corner of the cup.
You also need to tape down 3 or 4 sheets of paper on the floor in front of your ramp, so you can measure where the marble lands later.
