- Designed to provide biology teachers an Internet resource for learning, this site is nearly perfect. It provides dozens of classroom activities that are hands on, and has questions to go with them. There is a bioethics section, and a science talk room, where you can talk to scientists and teachers across the nation. There is an interesting facts section, a career opportunity section, and much more.
- The National Park Service
- Explore the world of animals. Learn about the biology of animals from birth to adulthood. This site gives you information about a variety of different animals. This site is especially good for students doing projects or research on animals. There is a vast amount of useful information on the site.
- The Albatross Project
- Some people don't have a clue what an albatross is. Actually, they are small birds - some people might mistake them for a duck. This site gives users background information on these cool birds, and also encourages students and educators to sign up to help the scientists track albatross migrations. This site shows us that we can make a difference.
- Virtual Cell
- This site provides a unique explanation of the cell. The site gives an interactive tour of the cell and its parts. To get a good idea of what the cell looks like and learn about its parts choose this page.
- Cells Alive!
- A well organized site which allows insights into various types of cells. The information is easy to understand and, in many cases, accompanied by illustrations and film clips to enhance visual understanding.

- Need help on your genetics homework, practice for your AP Biology exam, or just want to learn about genetics? Then check out this user-friendly and informative web site.
- Microbe Zoo
- This site includes a great deal of information on the microbes that surround us; in the soil, water, our own bodies, and in domestic animals. There are a few activities on the site as well as some great pictures of microbes. There are also lists of classifications of microbes and descriptions of the microbes. This site educates without bogging the visitor down with too much detail and technical language.
