In conclusion, everything we have done at the Summer Institute has been a great experience for all of the new comers! We have learned many new and interesting facts and theories. Through this entire summer we have been through a little of everything. Those things include: many hikes through the woods, problem solving, team work, language arts classes, geometry classes, physics classes, biology classes, meeting new people who become great friends, and most of all being a little more educated than before we came to the Summer Institute at Durham Academy.

In this picture Mr.Lineberger is explaining the demonstration of the egg drop. We learned that that purpose was to show Newton's 2nd Law. Newton's 2nd Law states that Force = mass*acceleration. There are other laws but we didn't focus on those areas. The students were not sure about how the experiment was going but it turned out to be a success.
