The Newton-Raphson method calculator allows you to solve a system of three equations of
x, y, and z. The Newton-Raphson method calculator has three different input screens,
which you choose using the pull down menu at the top of the applet.
The variables screen allows you to enter initial guesses for x, y, and z.
The constants screen allows you to define up to 5 constants to simplify typing
in your constraints.
The constraints screen allows you to enter your system of equations
in homogenous form (do not include the "= 0"). If you wish to solve less than
three equations, you may simply set the unused equations to zero. Remember, however,
that to have any possible solution, you must have as many constraints as free variables.
Don't forget, for nonlinear systems you may have more than one solution. Try multiple
initial guesses to be sure the solution you have is the one you want.
