Things that still need to be done
Back to Tutorial
Glossary:
- making glossary entries and hooking it up to tutorial:
- Terms for glossary: amplitude, frequency,
phase shift, natural frequency, resonate (or resonance), symmetric, positive definite,
eigenvalue, eigenvector, mode shape, mass orthogonal, stiffness orthogonal,
shear forces, shear stiffness, proportional damping, damping,
aerodynamic damping, trivial solution, critical damping, damping ratio,
damped natural frequency, beat phenomneon, frequency response functions (frf),
armature, absolute acceleration, monolithic, accelerometers, degree of freedom
Finishing the module:
- put pages into whatever template that is going to be used
- move pages to Duke server:
- total contents as-is of ~reneeg/weave/module1/;
everything contained and working except up, next, and back buttons, questionnaire, and pre-lab (also missing 3dof-tut.tex linked on node21.html)
- questionnaire and glossary from ~mchaney/Weave/
(The questionnaire links on the tutorial will need to be changed to whereever you put this)
Tutorial content:
- replace the popup description for lambda on node5.html, node6.html, and node6a.html (just replace "lambda" on pages with whatever it physically is)
- replace the popup description for E from "constant" to better definition on node10.html
- Deal with the pre-lab questions (node15.html).
Some questions are intermingled with the tutorial, and some no longer work with content.
Either remove the pre-lab altogether, or create a new one.
- Basic proof-read of tutorial for typos, etc.
- check credits on node21.html, add whoever else needs to be on it (also make sure that correct credit is given to Megan and Albert)
- create videos that aren't browser and Windows Media Player dependent
