Forest Fire Model

By: Nicholas Gardener and Hamza Shaikh

Researchers were assigned a project to make a forest fire model. They decided to go camping for a week in a forest, and during that week they would survey the forest to collect useful data for their model. On the first night, they accidentally caught fire to some nearby pine straw while cooking up some good ol’ American hamburgers. The fire spread, and the researchers were forced to evacuate the forest, but not without collecting some useful data about forest fires, and the manner in which they spread.
