Today was my last day at Shodor as an apprentice. Levi informed us that we would be presenting our projects and learning experience throughout the year at 2:00. I spent most of the morning getting ready for my presentation. I made sure all of my projects were linked on my website, and I made some small bug fixes and CSS modifications. When it was time to present, I showed some of my favorite projects to my peers. I explained how I implemented the skills I learned at Shodor into my personal life and my Shodor website. I feel like I ended the Shodor Apprenticeship Program on a good note. I learned a lot throughout the program, and I hope to become an intern next summer.

Today I worked on redesigning the CSS for my website. I created a new theme for my website. I also changed my portfolio to XML format like I did with my blog.

Today I worked on my website. In the afternoon, a former Shodor staff member named Kristen came in. She now helps veterans build resumes and find jobs. She showed us how to make our own professional resume.

This morning I was assigned documentation. I had to document the Shodor Scholars Program that was taking place. Levi was teaching the students in the program about Vensim. Vensim is a program that we use at Shodor to build some of our computer models. In the afternoon, I worked on my programming self exploration project. I read about some web frameworks like Bootstrap, but I decided I would rather have a custom design for my website, so worked on improving my website's current CSS.

Today we were assigned some tasks for the week by Ernie. The first task was to make our PHP projects more secure by validating and sanatizing user input. I had already done this earlier on so I decided to start working on our second task, which was a programming self exploration project.
