In our epidemic model, people roam randomly around the world. Our model shows healthy vs. sick people.
Healthy people move randomly most of the time. When healthy people aren’t moving around randomly, they are are moving away from groups of sick people. Sick people are either moving randomly or resting (not moving at all). If a healthy person stands next to a sick person, there is a chance the healthy person becomes sick. After a certain amount of time, or with rest, sick people become healthy again. With rest, sick people get better faster.
To create a new healthy person, select blue agent located in the Gallerie at top left. Then select the pencil tool located in the toolbar on the left and click anywhere on the canvas.
To create a new sick person, select red agent located in the Gallerie at top left. Then select the pencil tool located in the toolbar on the left and click anywhere on the canvas.
To move a person, select the pointer tool located in the toolbar on the left. Then you may click and drag the healthy person agent (blue) or the sick person agent (red).
The easiest way to "delete" a person is to drag the person off of the canvas, or you may use the eraser tool located in the toolbar on the left and click on the agent you wish to delete. Be sure to replace it with the world agent located in the Gallerie. This allows other agents to move freely on the canvas.
