What did you learn today or this week that you're most excited about?
Attended the Sysadmin Meeting we talked about how we will slowly need to improve our infrastructure. Talked to Phillip at lunch about better ways to test the new update of java 7 11 on the tablets since they where having display issues.

What did you do that you are most proud of?
Setup up high school and middle school accounts for the classes on 21st. Added four workshop student accounts on login for Aaron and setup four laptops in the classroom, printed out the accounts and emailed Aaron a copy just to be on the safe side. Made a test crontab to run hardware infomation and output it to a text file going to polish to run on the servers.

What have you heard about that you are hoping to learn more of?
Football seems to be repopulating my files from my cronjob even after I killed the cronjob might have hearthbeat running from when Tyler was last testing it. More on what I could do with cronjobs. Tyler told me that one of the Macbooks had a drink spill on it had issues booting.

Tyler reminded me about the /proc/meminfo for memory info in the future.

Showed the new sysadmin intern Kara about setting up the routers and where we store the Ethernet cables and routers/switches. Helped Dr Panoff sort the flyers and brochures for the workshops. Helped Tyler Update the iMacs to Java 7 Update 11. Helped Kristen with installing Adobe Acrobat on her staff laptop it kept crashed after 10 secs of launch after the re-install.

What major tasks did you accomplish/complete this week?
Setup up high school and middle school accounts for the classes on 21st. Cleaned out webmaster queue of spam. Setup 10 wired laptops in the classroom and 10 wireless in the conferance room for Erinie to use for classes on the 21st. Updated the New Macbooks 10.7 to Java 7 Update 11.
