What did you learn today or this week that you're most excited about?
Learning Openvpn has been pretty cool and interesting. I learned on what I can improve myself on in teaching classes.

What did you do that you are most proud of?
Finished the ticket on routers, switches and printers got the information on the wiki. Helped Ernie and Jennifer get cameras tested for the workshop. Updated the remote windows test clients fart and fried. Added ticket for Cortisol from when it was having issues Monday it had multiple leaking/bad capacitors. Updated my userspace on the wiki with what spare and scarp we should keep and discard for the move in Sept. Updated ticket on mac imaging with ldap errors still looking for fix. Installed Openvpn on Fedora 12 and CentOS 5.6 need to read more on how to run and use it. Once I find out how to use the server side of Openvpn I can look on how to best go about setting up clients on Windows and Mac environments. Wrote reflection on forensics class from last friday for Jenny read the reflections from the workshop students to find out how to better teach classes. Worked on finding out the issues with Muscarine no signs of hardware issues made ticket for it might need a fresh install on it.

What have you heard about that you are hoping to learn more of?
Mysql since it would kind of go hand in hand with PHP for database management and querys. I really enjoyed the network class session we had the other day with rest of the sysadmins.

Who (among Shodor staff and your peers) helped you the most? How did they help you?
I was interested why doing a yum install about the differences in some nix distros asked Jym the differences from Debain and Redhat as far as files located on the system. I learned that redhat has iptables in /etc/sysconfig/iptables and how Debain got its name from its creator Ian and his wife Debra so Debra + ian = Debian. Thought that was pretty cool I really like hearing all the history of how things are.

Helped show Matt what would cause split brain on the freezes. Tested some new things for Innocent on his website.
