What did you learn today or this week that you're most excited about?
Learned basic HTML and CSS from Paul. The shell globbing Jym was showing very interesting like searching for a range of data with dash or single and how * and ? come into play. Sam and Rob were showing vensim and agentsheets for modeling and how modeling can be useful. Dr Panoff did showed us how google is wrong about the diameter of the earth since it does not the earth is not a perfect sphere and how to use hot water to reseal jars I think the laymans term is hot water bath like in canning.
Comments: At first I wasn't sure having you go to the intern orientation sessions would be all that helpful, but hearing this, I'm very glad I did. -James Williams Zavada
What did you do that you are most proud of?
Sat in on introduction intern class and the basic html class. Helped bring in the semi new server and printer that was donated to Shodor. Worked on testing xp machine to see if it could be used as a testing machine. Cleaned out sysadmin area found Xp SP2 disk that worked with the weather test machine. Took out recycling and orginized cds place them in sysadmin area.

What have you heard about that you are hoping to learn more of?
Programming, HTML, the Shell classes coming up and Ldap since the images are still showing some issues.

Who (among Shodor staff and your peers) helped you the most? How did they help you?
Innocent helped me record the class sessions during the classes. Trey showed me a link to a fix for imovie permission issues. Izzy showed me how to move pictures in html and Paul showed me the difference from style in html.

Who did you help? How did you help them?
I helped the rest of the crew get the donated into the office. I helped Rachel unjam the printer when it was doing the print job.
