What did you learn today or this week that you're most excited about?
I started learning Perl its pretty cool so far. Trey show me some links to Perl tutorials I been running though some tutorials and modifying some of the programs they teach you to see how they can work.
Comments: Perl is a very good language to know -- it is a sysadmin's "swiss army knife" of programming! -James Williams Zavada
What did you do that you are most proud of?
I proud of learning cool stuff with the drbd project.

What have you heard about that you are hoping to learn more of?
I am hoping to learn more bout Perl because it seems pretty easy to grasp than some of the other programing languages so when I get a good grasp on Perl I can check out other programing languages.
Comments: I have a book I've used in the past as a textbook to teach Perl to folks without formal programming training. I'll bring it in and put it on our Sysadmin bookshelf. -James Williams Zavada
Who (among Shodor staff and your peers) helped you the most? How did they help you?
Trey helped show me this awesome page on perl programing and how to get started.

Who did you help? How did you help them?
I setup a account for jack for remote into a windows machine from his mac so he can use IE when needed. I been checking the wiki for stuff to add to sysadmin page to get it organized.
Comments: Thanks for updating the wiki, this helps quite a bit with the new documentation initiative that Dr. Panoff asked of us! -James Williams Zavada
