What did you learn today or this week that you're most excited about?
I learned about how to I watched Joel disassemble a Macbook pro to check if the hard drive had physical damage.
Comments: Hardware trouble-shooting and repair is another one of those things they rarely teach in classes, so it's good to grab onto opportunities like this when they happen. -James Williams Zavada
What did you do that you are most proud of?
Working on the Drbd with the rest of the sysadmin group and finding some issues with it though its been great learning new things. I checked a laptop hard drive.

What have you heard about that you are hoping to learn more of?
Trey showed me Lightpeak which looks like it is pretty cool and might change hardware here in a few years.
Comments: The tech industry is one that changes very frequently and sometimes quite drastically, so it's good to look ahead as much as you can without forgetting about what's happening right now. -James Williams Zavada
Who did you help? How did you help them?
I helped Trey take down the Macbooks, cabling and power strips in conference room which was being used for classes last weekend. I checked and updated systems.
