My name is Griffin Rubin and I live in North Carolina. I go to Durham Academy and am a rising junior. I am involved in the Shodor Apprenticeship Program because I have constantly found myself with a yearning for furthering my own knowledge of technology. My father would assist me by aiding me with plenty of technological equipment, but he did not know coding, so I looked to Shodor for trained technology teachers. Of course, at Shodor I have received more information than I could ask for and am learning more interesting and useful things each and every day.

During the week, while I am away from Shodor, I enjoy reading, running, gaming, baking, and many other things. I have consistently ran on the Durham Academy Varsity Cross-Country Team and Varsity Track Team. During the off-seasons, I run either four to six miles depending on the day and then go home to do homework.

I am currently preparing to take AP BC Calculus, English 11: AP English Language and Composition, English 11: Honors American Literature, AP French Language, AP Chemistry, Principles of Engineering, and US History. I expect to enjoy each of my classes, but especially math, engineering, and chemistry. Lastly, thank you for coming to my website!
