Assignment 2: Due before start of class 12 Sep:

1. Please go over this vocabulary list and familiarize yourself with how the words are used to communicate CERTAINTY (The docx form can be more-easily edited to add your own notes)
   • Scientific Certainty Vocabulary (Word format)
   • Scientific Certainty Vocabulary (PDF format)

2. Write brief definitions of each pair of concepts that captures the source of certainty.
3. Be prepared to compare and contrast what you have found and to share with the others (in writing and conversation).
4. Send me a pdf of your work before class on 12 September for at least 5 pairs of words from this list. Be sure to give practical examples.
