Assignment 1: Due before start of class 5 Sep:

1. Identify one or more "Honor Codes" from:

   and come to class prepared to compare and contrast it with the Wofford Honor Code

2. Read and re-read, ponder and re-ponder the following articles:
   • Computational Science
   • Science Education for Everyone
   • What Kind of Science is Computational Science

3. Using http://images.google.com to find sources of inspiration, sketch in your notes three or more illustrative examples for each of the following:
   • the modeling process;
   • the scientific method;
   • the engineering design process.

4. Be prepared to compare and contrast what you have found and to share with the others (in writing and conversation).
