This model represents the actions of the various muscles in the heart as they pump blood. In doing so, it models the ventricular volume over the course of a series of heartbeats.
The main classes include the Heart Ventricle, Aorta, and Body Tissues. These classes are affected by numerous variables, including Venus Pressure, Viscosity, and Systolic Pressure.
This model is very simple. Click run to run a simulation of the heart beating, and the data will be plotted on the graph. You can change many of the parameters to get a different graph of heartbeats.
The graph should be cyclical, with clearly-defined peaks and valleys. The Heart Ventricle line will asymptotically approach its final value.
