Emphasize that a logo is something relatively simple or iconic. Think of the message or idea you are trying to visually communicate.

NOTE to TEACHER: Put together a set of logos that are pretty easy to pick apart and analyze. Ask the following questions allowing for participation from the kids:
Have the students use Inkscape to create their own custom logo.
You can even suggest that they sketch out their ideas on paper before implementing them in Inkscape. (Have sheets of blank paper and pens/pencils available.)
