The following example, is an outline of how a lego structure should look. Please read through the instructions and look at the pictures provided. Each step is outlined, and you should be able to grasp the concept of how a basic structure should look.
First you must start with a basic base structure, as you can see below this is constructed of 3 simple lego peices, made into an upside down U formation.
Next we add on a few more blocks on top of the base structure, as you can see by the ones circled. The blocks added are two 1x1x1 blocks, and a 4x1x1 block. This now makes the lego structure with a height of 2 instead of 1.
For our next and final addition, we will add two more 'thin' legos. They are half the size of the normal ones. The first lego 'blue' is a 2x2x1, and the 'green' lego is 2x1x1. Take a look at the over head view, and then gaze at the side view for a better understanding of how it was built.
