DURHAM, N.C. — June 27, 2008 — Shodor, a national resource for computational science education, is having a "Computing MATTERS" open house for middle and high school students, their parents, educators, and anyone interested in improving math and science education. Hands-on and interactive math and science explorations using computers will be led by Shodor's own apprentices and interns who are from high schools and colleges/universities across the Triangle.
Guests may stop by any time between 8 a.m. and 10 a.m., and also between 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. on Tuesday, July 15th at Shodor, 300 West Morgan Street, Suite 1150, Durham, NC 27701 - in the Durham Centre office building.
